Hey Steve, don't work to hard, 11:00 wow, but you gotta do what you gotta do!! You know, I use to like to work late shift, especially from 11 to 7, I could do what I wanted to do all day long!!

I sure hope and pray that Melba will be okay!!

 

Steve I know its hard to see your wife that way. I'm sure she knew you were there hopefully it's just that the medications that made her that way.

Thanks all for the support. Thought that I was going to have to work tomorrow but another guy wanted the day. Yesterday he didn't want it but he changed his mind. I was going to work my day off because my supervisor is good people. I think I need a day off. Then three days of closing at work. I guess enjoy it while it is there, pretty soon the seasonal thing will be over.

 

Good Morning Ala. and everyone, George! Steve I hope Melba and family are doing better. George is right Steve, med's make you do somes weird thing's, like not be yourself, hope everything is back to normal soon!!

 

For all those interested an update on Melba.. She has been moved to a rehabilitation center for any where from 1 to 3 weeks. They thiink it will do her some good. She was still tired and didn't want to talk much this evening. If they sent her home she would just sit in the chair, watch TV and expect to be waited upon. My daughter is helping me get rid of some of the clutter around the house that has been gahtering and has been neglected. We can get the place clean and ready for when she gets home. Melba doesn't do well with chemical smells. So now is a perfect time to treat the wood floors and use something other than a broom to clean.

G'Afternoon AL. How'd the hot weekend treat everyone?

 

Evening everyone, Hope you had a nice weekend!!

 

I worked the hot weekend. Saturday was a long hot evening. Sunday was a bit shorter. Got a scare call from the Doctor while I was having a late breakfast. Seems he thought that the wife was dying and I needed to gather the family. My daughter and I went down to see what was going on. They were over medicating her and she was sleeping a lot and breathing through her mouth and driving her CO2 up. She did look bad but after a couple hours she was talking and eating so I went to work late and my daughter went home. I worked until 9 that evening on a couple bites of eggs from my interrupted breakfast. Saw her today before I went to work this evening and she was still tired but a bit more lucid. I will check on her tomorrow, my day off.

So how was everybody else's weekend?

 

Morning Steve, Bless her heart, she is having a rough time ain't she!! I know about that over medicating, I think all hospital's are known for that. Well, I hope the next time you post, you will have some better new's for us. Keep the faith and know I am still praying for ya'll!!
