OK guys, I goofed. When I took the drive gears out of my 8.8 locking rear, I pulled all the shims (or whatever you call them) off the drive gears and cleaned them. Now I have no clue how they go back together. Some have splines that fit on the gear, then some have tabs 180 degrees apart. Any help please?

 

I forget the pattern on the 8.8, but it should be steel, clutch, steel and so on.

 

Is that coming from the center going out or outside coming in? Thanks a lot! Much appreciate it

 

How many steels are there and how many clutches are there?

 

From the outside in, it went clutch, steel, steel clutch, steel steel, clutch. I found a diagram at the dealership FINALLY and it seems to be working now. Dont' EVER forget the friction modifier! LOL Thanks for all your help!
