how far are the state fair grounds from you? with the kids it might make it easier to be close to home.. I took my little guy with me on Saturday and he did pretty good looking at the cars with me, but he got fussy towards the end (4hours) and it was hot and I got a nice sunburn.

The Show in Columbus is put on by the local group of Street Rodders.. I'm friends with a bunch of them so that is why I pimp it out as much as possible for them... I entered my old red 77 a few years ago cause I was trying to sell it.. got a guy who was going to buy it from me but that fell through after the show was done.. (never called back) oh well.

Kind of nice out there today, not nearly as hot as yesterday... I was working on repainting the garage door trim yesterday and the hot wind was turning my paint into sticky goo!
was this the one you saw Rob?

per his twitter page, "Tornado Attack is spending the night in Sioux Falls, SD hoping for some action on Sunday (5/31)"

Columbus is about the same as the state fair is, about 2.5 hours from me. I might get better response from the kids by attending the one up here since they want to visit the Corn Palace in Mitchell... the state fair is in Huron, about 30 miles north of Mitchell.

That is the one... they must have been heading north to Sioux Falls on Saturday, it was around 6:30 or so when I saw them at the BP station at the Elk Point exit on I-29.

The gray colored one that Pat posted is the one I remember from TV...

well to clarify, not that I wouldn't want you to come down to this one in Columbus.. I think it will be a good time, but it probably wont be as big as one at the SD State Fair park.... and there isn't much to do in Columbus, unless you take the kids to the water park (indoor or outdoor- indoor is in a hotel)
