2000 F 150 wire under intake??? Got pic

Well me and my dad are switching out a 4.6 truck engine(valve dropped and destroyed piston) for a police intecepter 4.6, we had to change just about everything. This wire was bolted to the engine block under the intake(i think). What is it because the police engine does not have a stud for it.

I would agree with Bobby...being as it has a brass insert, I would say it's a ground wire.

If it was under the intake in the center of the block, then it's the knock sensor.
The romeo car engine block should have a threaded boss in the center of the block for knock sensor to mount.
