Annoying Phrases

Since we have favorite sayings, how about phrases that really make your eyes cross.

Here are some of mine -- hope they're not your favs

"Reinvented himself " (or herself or themselves)

"Bottom Line, at the end of the day"

"needs an update/recently updated" (redecorated)

"Dave has 3 votes, Jennifer has 2 votes"

"Back in the day"

"Old school"

"At this point in time."

How about just saying "now" instead?

I hate it when someone says..."See what I'm saying?"....or..."Know what I'm saying?".....even "Understand what I'm saying?"

I get to the point that I want to say..."No...I don't see what you're saying!!! Write it down and then I will!!!"

I always hate when people say "nuff said." Like what are they trying to say, that they can't elaborate on their briefly worded opinion... or they want to have the last word and are trying to cut off any rebuttals?
