I swore Id never own a John Deere........

Guess what followed me home today..... 1952 John Deere A bought it from the guy who I sold my Hemi to today.




Factory hydralics with lifting arm hookups that could be used to make a 3 point hitch

Ryan my good man, ya finally stepped over to the green side!!

Looks not bad at all, a little paint and some new front tires, get the engine loosened up and it will be pretty cool!

Well thanks. Next weekend Ill start ripping down the motor see and take pics on how bad it is. I started pricing out some parts.
cylinder kit with new pistons, pins, bearings and rings is $350
gasket set and deluxe seat which I need is $120
And a whole new top end for the motor being new slieves and the top part of the engine block is $550

Cheap rebuild, beats rebuilding our Ford truck engines.

sometimes a guy just needs a change of scenery..... Ill be back to fords and red paint in a lil bit

Thanks all the hood is actually very nice (not considering its colour) but the grill could use a lil TLC, but I guess motor comes apart first.

Though it`s not blue there`s really nothing wrong with that colour......

Here i thought you would mention that grey color haha.

I think that JD will look great with some paint on it. They always looks so nice when they are freshly painted up.

The older Ford grey or the newer Ford blue is kool!
Actually I like Ford, MF, IHC and JD tractors....

I think they are good looking tractors. I cant waite to get it running and spruced up.
