If you do it, avoid the low priced aftermarket kits. They are junk. P.O installed them and I went to the trouble to convert my doors back to original style.

dang sorry to here that i think ill go to the junk yard first and do the hidden switch trick like the other guy till i can afford the remote stuff.

I went to the junk yard and picked up a set of trunk pulls from Tbird and Mecury sedans..

make a couple clips to hold the cable and and thought about how much work it was gonna be to do this..

then came on an idea..

I extended the arm on the bear claw latch just over an inch (to the pull point) and voila, works great!..

Finished my passenger side door yesterday, will post pics later. Worked great and used the stock latches.
