Ford lagging lately

We own a 1991 FOrd explorer 4x4 eddie bauer and a 1999 ford explporer 4x4 eddie bauer. If the 99 wasnt under warranty we would have spent more fixing the 99 in a year than fixing the 91 in 10 years. The only work done on the 91 is 4x4 hubs, o2 sensor, an a/c hose and normal maintenance. The 99 has needed new seatbelts in front twice, new headlight sensor, new cylinderhead, new gas cap, new something in the passenger door. ALL IN ONE YEAR!!! I hear many other new ford owners have the same sort of problems. Mostly little crap that keeps breaking. Ford doesnt seem to be following through with thier new trucks and SUVs, theyt are good design but have many stupid problems. I even heard something about the new tritons haveing cams seize up but im not sure on that one. Ford needs to get back in the game and test thier vehicles better cause the new one creak, rattle, vibrate and break alot.

Andrew

My personal vehicle: 78 ford bronco
others: two explorers, 85 suburban, 67 nova
