Break-In

I read an article in some magazine, maybe Road and Track, that mentioned a 1500 mile 'take it easy' break-in period for the Lightning. Anyone have anything official on the break-in reccomendations?

Break-In

I assume your name is Ben, as is mine. I asked the dealer (last Sunday) when I purchased my white 2001 L about the dealer's recommended break-in period, and the reply was they really dont have one. The owner's manual speaks to a 1000 mile "break-in period" which simply says to vary your speeds for the first 1000 miles. Hope this helps!
