What did you run over this time?

I bought new fuel filter and oil for a change, now just need to actually find some time and do the work.

Ha ha funny guy. It wasn't sitting quite right from when I did my leveling kit.

Now might be a good time for the oil change.

Maybe we can get Marty to build us a beefier bumper so we can hit things. Ya know, practice on his and get ours right.

I'm thinking I should probably flush my coolant soon. Still got the original stuff in it. Truck's almost 8 years old.

Probably time for a tranny service too.

Its not really truck related, but my Horse trailer needs some work. The rear door needs to be sand blasted and repainted. The wheel bearings should be replaced, as the previous owner did not tell me when they were last replaced. The brakes need to be checked for wear. I also want to check the bushings, but according to the previous owner, they were replaced less then 1000kms ago.

Found a chrome/black bumper from a 2005 Lariat XLT. Still looking for a header panel and chrome grille, and whatever is needed to mate the 2005 headlights to the 1999 harness. I'm undecided if I want to use a plug-and-play adapter harness or just get the pigtails from a harness at the wrecker and cut and solder.

A harness from a wrecker could prove to be quite costly. From my experience with SD and autowreckers.

Guess it depends on your wrecker. I converted a buddy's 2000 with H4-style lights to 2003-style lights. We went to the wrecker, told the lady what we wanted; she walked outside with us, cut off the connectors from the harness, and said "put those in your pocket".

I cut off his old connectors, soldered on the new ones, and they work great.

That reminds me, I think I need to get the headlight mounting clips too; I can't remember if my lights came with them. Will check when I get home.

I probably shouldn't say what wrecker that was, at least until I get what I need.

I need to know. Around here all they tell me is they are so hard to get, that's why the parts are expensive.

I'm looking for the two pieces for lowering down the spare and the lug wrench for mine and cannot find one around here.
