I bought a real nice front clip for my 64. It has 2 u-shaped brackets by the turn signals. I was told it was to mount a factory grill guard on? If the info is correct, does anyone have a pic? Would anyone by chance know where i could find one of these grill guards? Thank you.

Welcome to FTE

2) C4TZ8B128A .. Mounting Bracket-Grille Guard (U shaped).

1) C4TZ8307A .. Accessory Grille Guard Kit / Fits: 1964 F100/750.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Grill Guard

Thanks for the help. I guess i will have to start checking the salvage yards. We have quite a few that haven't crushed out yet and still have older vehicles.

That does not surprise me at all.

In 1989, while I was driving in the vicinity of The Needles, a 1965 F100 Crew Cab pickup was parked just off the road.

I had never seen one before, and was unaware there was any such thing!

There were a lot more old Ford trucks at Pine Ridge, Hill City, Lead, Sturgis & Spearfish.

btw: The Ford dealer in Bowman ND (Bowman Sales & Service) is loaded with obsolete parts.
