I have just purchased my first lightning. A red 1994 with 103,000 miles. Very clean. I love driving the thing. Mine came with the center console and I have 2 sons and need to find a middle seat. Does anyone know of a good source for something that would match the gray interior and bolt in with minimal fuss?

the right seat has been moded. in order to install center con the right seat has been cut off and recovered. you will need to find a seat in the j yard or swap with someone. go to lightining roders .com and you will find people eager to swap you out.

 

There were/are 3rd seat options for the GEN 1's and you can install one without any modifications, if you can find one. There are other jump seat options that don't require any upholstery modifications, just redrilling, and they work well.

 

Be prepared to spend BIG money on a genuine Lightning center seat. i have seen them go for 400+. You can get a center seat fron a dodge,they are close to the stock fabric and dont look to bad. Or find a center seat from a f150,250,350 and see if someone can match the Lightning fabric
