Hello- My 05' expdy with 70K threw these codes (throttle actuator control system forced idle/closed shut) today and apparently went into idle mode (wife was driving) in a parking lot. After starting the car again, everything seemed fine. I cleared the codes and drove car for 10 miles, and need to drive a bunch more this weekend. Based on what I have read, root cause could range from needing a cleaning in the throttle sensor to a new EMT module. I plan to drive it around this weekend and see if problem reoccurs. Anyone think I can cause any more damage, etc:

I have had the same problem and have read the same codes. I pulled the throttle body off the intake. The throttle body was black with soot. I cleaned the unit with throttle body cleaner from Advance and reinstalled. So far no problems and the response seems better.
