Look At The Deal I Got! Pics Included!

Just traded my 1973 Ford F250 for this 89 Ford Bronco II. I paid $500 for my truck and traded straight across for this Bronco. It is a manual 5 speed... with manual locking hubs. Straight body, flaking clear coat but in great condition overall. Mechanically perfect! Maintenence records all the way back to when it was purchased new and all the original documents included like the window sticker and owner card. Someone took great care of it... it even got brand new tires not even a year ago that cost $550. So what do you guys think? I haven't owned a Bronco II yet... how do you guys like yours?

Can't see the pics due to the proxy on our network, but, sounds like a good deal. I just wished I were closer so I could have bought your F-250!

These are the types of vehicles I love buying. I would have paid $1000-$1500 for that easy if I was in the market!

I hear ya there, rebocardo! It's difficult to find one that is not only in somewhat pristine condition, let alone with all of the original books and whatnot as well as all the maintenance history records. Those I consider worth spending 'top dollar' on, especially if you can't find anything wrong with it other than maybe wear and tear on the original paint and interior. I'm somewhat hesitant to buy a repainted truck or one with an interior that has been freshened up. Mainly because of the fact that you don't know what might be lying in wait underneath. However, if the seller has the documentation as to the when and why, etc., then that I am a little more comfortable with.
