97 f150 dome light stays on

my dome and cargo light may or may not go out when i leave my truck. will in time.sooner or later.does not seem to be the latch switchs.what else

Spray the door latches with WD-40 where it strikes the pillar bolt.Your light switches in there are gummed up and the WD-40 will fix the problem.
