Yea,i've heard that the newer ones are better. If I were harder on the brakes,I would probably leave the 95 stuff. But,I don't forsee this truck ever being a DD,so it's not too big of a deal.I'm kinda big into keeping my truck as close to stock as possible(with a few exceptions lol),and if I did leave the 95 stuff,i'd feel like I need to swap in a newer 8.8 to match.

Thanks man! They're around, you just gotta find them.I got lucky and this one pretty much just fell into my lap.It helps when the previous owner is an older gentleman. They tend to take better care of the trucks.

I now have a better pic of the moldings.I'm still on the lookout for the ones in front of the wheel wells.I also have some brighter pics of the interior. In these pics I have the blue oval on the dash, but I took it off the next day.It doesn't fit with what I want the interior to look like.

I'll be startin college in August,so I won't be able to get as much stuff done to the truck as I would like.Either this Winter or Next Summer I hope to get some progress made on the driveline of the truck.I'm really tired of it not being driveable.I would like to get this truck driveable before I Graduate so I can drive it to school at least once.

Here's the pics.

Nothing too significant, but I had a buddy do a rough rendering of my seat re-upholstered.

I'm still waiting to pull the engine come winter time and stick it on a stand.

That is sharp, what a V8 wouldn't do for that!

Thanks!

I thought about a V8 when I first got the truck, but I plan on utilizing the torque of the 300, so i'm just gonna rebuild the 300.

You should. It's a good way to be able to look back here down the road and think to yourself wow, it's come that far?

Well after a month of zero progress, I finally made some big progress. I was able to find a near perfect Ranger Lariat radio bezel for the truck. Took me 7 months, but I finally got one. I also put the ****/shaft style radio in the truck. It'll be used as a dummy radio for a factory look, but all it will do is light up. I'm gonna run a new CD player behind the seat.

Here's a picture.

Looking good. I like that you are trying to keep it stock looking. I don't have a radio in mine, so I'm considering putting some type of mp3 player in it with some kind of computer speakers and an inverter (all out of site, of course).

Thanks!

The wheels are factory Ford 92-96 styled steel wheels that you can find on F150's and Broncos, and the tires are 31x10.50 Dunlops.
