Superchips 1805... I may be getting one for free

Question is... can this tuner do any harm? I know the DP tuner is better from what I have read on this site but .... will any harm come from tuning with the Superchips 1805??

For free it's a good deal. Miller_Feed ran one for a while and so did Big Poppa Pump. They liked them until they got a DP then they fell in love! Both of them use their Superchips as a coder reader now.

I would get it for free, then sell it on ebay. Then use that money towards a DP Tuner.

I ran it stock for years. I did switch the tunes for what I was pulling. I did finally do the muffler delete. Once I got on FTE, well, you see my sig.

If it reads codes, I'd use it for that and pretend it doesn't contain tunes and get a Chip from DP, DI, TW, Swamps yada yada

Send it to your good friend Jason so he can read codes with it...and use it for a paper weight like you do.

I ran my SC 1705 with a stock truck then slowly progressed to the basics(intake, exhaust, yada, yada). Mainly got it for towing and better shifting, without the SC, it was in and out of gear towing and was burning fuel like no tomorrow, it did the job, it firmed up the shifts. Free, go for it...

I ran a 1705 for a very short time cause it came with the truck from the original owner. It made my truck shift like doo doo was very pingy (if pingy is a word)
