Trim repair

I have a 1970 F100 that I am preparing to strip down. She is strait, but much of the trim is dinged and scratched. Any idea on someone who will straiten them? I will find a chrome plater later or may polish the alum and clearcoat. Im in the tow hours east of Tulsa.

Trim repair

Someone here posted a message about this saying it would have cost about $1500 to have this done. Even if it's close to that, that's WAY too much money. I just bought a full setup for $15 and it's very straight (except one flat spot). I'd just keep checking the yards until you find some.

You can buy a new set of side moldings for $400.00 for the
1 5/8" wide, and $600.00 fot the 3" wide. This is no doubt a lot of money but the clips are included and that alone is almost a
$200.00 value. I just put a set of the 1 5/8" on my 1971 F-250. But even if you decide to polish what you have, don't clearcoat them. That is like painting a car without sanding it, it just will not stay on. You are going to be spraying a clearcoat onto a surface that has been polished to a slick finish. Without the clearcoat you will be alright, just wipe it dry everytime.
