Chapter Logo - Decision 2009
#31
The reason I ask is because of the colors, what color back ground (white?) or maybe a clear transfer?
I think the colors would call for a silk screened decal.
Just throwing that out there......

I think you guys need to figure out the color of the lettering, because the nj chapter is in black, so if you put it on your back window, the window may be tinted, and it might not show, or you can leave it the way it is maybe clear background as steve mentioned, and we can stick it on the tailgate?

I agree with the white background....here it comes...the but...not butt (sorry Tom I couldn't resist) it will need to be a screened or printed decal not a multi layered vinyl overlay.

we are discussing having it done both ways to look at it.
the multi layer vinyl will look allot better than a silkscreen process.
and for the issue of having www.fordtrucks,com and the N.J. Chapter in black letters, we talked about that also.
they will be changed to white lettering.
the big holdup so far is getting a usable image of the FTE logo in an eps. vector file, or an ai. type file.
i pm'd FTE Adrian last night asking if they had it in the office.

ok guys, we ran into a little snag.
if we go with a silkscreen setup like a bumpersticker, everything is fine as is.
but i don't want to go this route. i want to go as a vinyl window transfer.
to do a vinyl transfer, the shop needs the FTE logo in an eps. vector file or it could also be an illustrator file which would be an ai. type, so the shop can load it into the computer to send it to the vinyl cutter. if we can do this, it will cut down on the cost of the stickers significantly, because there will be very little layout. if she has to hand design the truck outlines in the logo, the price is gonna climb.

if you want to do both, that will work. she has the ford logo, and the letering is normal font. it is the fte logo that she can't find.

I just sent the FTE logo in both ai and eps, plus I also included the NJ background picture too....
