Pulling codes.

Buddy of mine just got a truck I forget what year but it is a 4.6 f150 so its OBD 2 I know how to pull codes without a scanner on OBD 1 fords but dont know how on OBD 2 can anyone link me to the info I have seen it before but not sure where or just tell me how to get the codes to flash out on the dash. Thanks alot.

To the best of my knowledge you cant pull the codes with OBDII without a reader.I do remember how on the OBDI as you do,but have never tried on the II....One can get a scanner cheap,and it will ultimately become the best tool you ever bought...

Step 1; Start truck
2; Put it in gear
3; Drive to Advance Auto
4; Have them read the codes and print them out
