Flexplate question

I have 2 460's, one a 76 and the other a 85. I am going to use the 85 motor for now as I know it runs good. Can I use the flexplate from the 76 or do I need to find one for a later motor?

you need one for the later motor, the 76 will be internal balance the 85 is external
