Overdrive Light
New to site. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
2000 F-250, automatic.
The second time now i have started the truck and the "off" light for the overdrive, on the column, was Blinking. It Blinked for about two minutes then it went of.
Truck drove and ran fine, and the overdrive worked fine, and disingaged correctly.
Any thoughts?
(oh, i love my plow too, even though its a Myers.)

The OD light flashing is the transmission's version of the check engine light. So that means that the transmission has a problem. It may not be a serious problem yet but you should have it scanned to get it corrected before things go real bad. Good luck!
