OBD 1 port?

I have a 1990 F-150 with the 300 I6. the check engine light keeps coming on I have a obd 1 code reader (just got it) then when I went to plug it in it wasn’t under the dash like I thought it would be I checked the Chiltons but it says nothing about where it would be. Dose anyone know where it is?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

It's on the drivers side inner fender clipped up behind the air filter box.

You must be looking at the wrong thing. You want this funky looking plug, it probably has a cover over it with "EEC Test" on top...

10 isn't a valid code for these trucks. That code should only come up after a cylinder balance test, which our batch injected trucks cannot perform.
