To start off with it is Potato and Leek Soup then there is Corn Beef with Cabbage, and then I don't know. But have a few beers left in the fridge.

Good Morning Pat, Tammie, Miles and everyone else.

Pat the angel food cake was so yummy, the soup was also yummy, the corn beef and cabbage was a hit. The only leftovers I have is some soup and some cabbage the rest is gone.

Everyone have a wonderful day.

WHO GOES ON SPRING BREAK IN ILLINOIS????????

AAUURRGGHH!!!!!!

we left WV on Mon AM and arrived in Centralia shortly after 3PM......we made good time, but it was a long drive, as always.......when I got into Mt Vernon, my oldest told me his truck just DIED....battery completely dead, NOTHING!!! so, after he explained everything to me, I told him it sounded like the alternator and instructed him to remove it and take it to the auto store to test it......he then let me know he didnt have his tools in his truck yet and could I grab them from the house and bring them in to him......

so, I did.....and when I got there, I said, now take it off.....he then asked, where is it.....LOL....so, I showed him where it what and what was needed to be removed to get it out of there, and he didnt do too bad with it.......we walked it over to the auto store tested it....and DEAD AS A DOORKNOB.......soooooooo, I paid 60 bucks for the new one, and we walked back over to the truck.......we took his battery out, since it was dead, and took it to the parts store to have it charged while we installed the new alternator......he had difficulties and begged me to help him, so, I walked him thorugh it, didnt do it for him and he now knows how to remove and install an alternator~~~

then yesterday, we hung out together most of the day.....I had an eye doc appt in the AM, went to my mothers office right after, then she took us all to lunch at our local chinese buffet.....after that we played at the park, then he went for his job interview and got the job....he actually had it before he walked in (but I didnt tell him I pulled a couple strings for him) after that we bought some new tub surround, went to the library to check out some videos, I bought 6 books from their sale rack, and we came home, still totally stuffed from the chinese.......

taking a minute for some food.......then off totown for some drywall and other accessories needed to complete this task....wonder what he will ask me to do tomorrow?????

spring break......WHERE IS THE BREAK....

HA!
