Damper falling apart

I just went thu my engine and was about to torque down by harmonic balancer (92 externally balanced EFI motor) and noticed the outer weight is not squarely sitting on the hub. I should mention that I used a rubber mallet to get it part way on . So is this fixable or do I have to replace it and not use a mallet on the new one. No a good source if I need to replace?

replace it. it was probably getting weak anyway but beating on it sure didn't help. Check your local parts store for a new one, or even Ford like one of our sponsors such as FTEpartsguy
Also check at your local parts place and ask about tool rentals they might have the proper dampener installing tools you can rent

I think I got a email via my contact us link about this, but it didn't list motor size so I wasn't able to help.
