Glad you come over here. FTE is a little bit different from the .org, hope you enjoy it.

In all honesty, I have never seen Street Comp on any list when he was doing SCT products. I don't know if it was something that he was testing and it just never got off the ground or what. I did email him to see if I could get a new version of it for his Phalanx, haven't hear back from him on that yet. I'll let you know on that.

They do have an email for 6.0 calibrations, but I guess they still haven't activated it yet.

I run a custom ASE as a daily driver,it is hands down the best all round tune I have ever had in the truck.Once Spartan gets a tune dialed in it is mind numming how smooth and powerfull your truck will run.The best thing is I get 20 plus MPG on the highway easily. So I would say you should give it a try.

I forgot to mention that a tighter housing might help with spooling of the 64 to offset when your tranny downshifts.

Well, after much debate I ordered the Phalanx today from Jared @ Spartan. I actually got if for $50 less than what I quoted for being a Beta tester. I only want the best for my truck and the Phalanx is it! I ordered the

Heavy Tow
Aggresive Street economy
Hybrid Race

I inquired about the EGT cable etc., that I need for the Phalanx. Jared was unsure as to when it would be available. I've read a post on the Spartan forum listing everything needed but a few of the links no longer work. I will not run the Phalanx without the EGT's being monitored. Does any body have any new info as too what and where I can purchase the needed equipment?

Thanks

Here you go Sir, I ordered the parts from this link:
http://www.dashdaq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=587

Sorry I didn't hot link it, but I'm stuck posting over a smartphone and I couldn't activate the link button and I wasn't sure what the code was for this board. The link shold work if you cut and paste it. I'll fix it someone else doesn't before I get back to a real computer.

I haven't received all of the parts yet, but I'll install them and report back here when I do.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the link. I will get everything ordered. Looks like the only tricky part may be getting the EGT's to read without decimal's. Looking forward to your report back on install tip's. Thanks again

I wrote the info about reading EGT using a Phidget.
I am out of town for a few days, but I will write up the procedure to eliminate the decimals when I get home. It is easy and works great!

Cool!!! I was just setting around wondering how I'd do that part when the phidgets sensor arrives. I have already received the thermocouple, connector, and adaptor cable. I also have to check the size of bit and tap needed for the thermocouple.

Thanks Charlie!

I have just ordered everthing also. The sensor web site list the thermal coupler as having a 1/8 npt, i have two tap and die charts, one says 11/32 drill one says 5/16 drill. Iwould like to see the instructions for getting rid of the decimal reading also.
