I am restoring a 48 F-5. I am looking for the lower fenders for this truck. The truck was bought new in 48 by my wifes grandfather and it has 56,000 orig miles.

I know there are fiberglass ones out there, but I would like steel. Can anyone help??

 

FTE member reamer makes some patches for those fenders, check out his ad in the classifieds and see if he has what you are looking for.

They do pop up on e-bay from time to time! I checked - none at the moment.

I have (2) lower fronts that I just purchased as a part of a front clip for a F2-F6. They are dinged up but overall, solid. If you contact me at the following address, I can provide pictures and more information. I also have other front clip parts. My F1 needed a grill and left inner fender which I was able to salvage from the clip. I still have the hood, upper fenders, right inner and some other front parts.
