Dave:
What can you tell me about the fitment of your tires on the Bronco?

The Michelin's would be 35.4" by 10.9" and I am wondering with my four inch suspension lift if I'll have to cut metal and / or loose turn - turn steering wheel travel due to potential chaffing.

They used to look kinda like they where stuffed in the fenders, they didnt rub on the fenders but i didnt flex the suspension very far. I cant turn the wheel to full lock because the tires will rub on the radias arms, that could be fixed by putting larger steering stops in. I put cut out fender flares on a few months ago. the wheel well opening looks stock again, I also slid the front bumper ahead 2". I can get yo some pictures if you would like.

Thanks Dave, but pictures are not necessary.

The conversion rims are ordered to the requested setback, which I believe helps with turning radius (lock - lock) at the expense of axle bearing life.

Also mine are narrower than yours, so it depends on where the chafe occurs, sidewall versus corner of tread.

The little bit of rubbing I do have, from when I try to turn it to full lock. Is on the edge of the tread.

Good night Dave.

Do have a night cap, and not the stocking kind those of yore wore on their heads.
