i have a 2001 f150 xl automatic 4x4 with a manule 4x4 floor shifter, well the light on the dash work fine and i can here a sound on the pasenger side when i sheft into 4h or 4l but i doesnt work i have been stuck in the snow 6 times in one night and it is getting vere frustrating does any body have any sugestions.

 

Probably something wrong with the vacuum shifter for the front axle.
