Truck in for paint pics

Took truck in for body work and paint. Put pics in my gallerie under 1950 project.
He had some good weather and shot what he had ready for paint. He still has a way to go but I am happy with what he done so far. Running boards will be black.

Wow!! Very nice!

The two toned black over red reminds me of the early Chicago city fire department trucks.

Can't wait to see it all together

Looking good. I had mine repainted this past fall. The red looks the same as mine. I used dark candy apple red from an 08 mustang i saw sitting on a car lot. Look in my gallery for pics. I still have not been able to post pics.

I had a few bumps along the way but rolling along now. I found some wheels I like and will order when I can take the truck to them to check clearance. I have to use an adapter for the smaller bolt pattern on the new wheels. Hard to find a selection in 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Thanks for answering questions along the way.

It is either Vermillion or Vibrant I will check with the painter when he calls this week to give me an update. It was in the PPG book but I cant remember which one.
