If you have installed a Hypertech, please come here

I have a hypertech programmer. I really only bought it for the firmer shift and larger tire size which work great. I am just interested in knowing who has installed the power options and what your results are. I know one person here had a few cyclinders burn up but im hoping that was an isolated case. I don't want to go to 93 octane, rather want to go to regular fuel.

Comments welcome

I have had mine for a year on the premium fuel tune. It doesn't seem to help on fuel economy but it runs a lot better. It pulls hills with very little downshifting or loss of speed. As gas goes back up I am considering the regular fuel tune but it does not seem to have much power increase over stock tune.

I've had one for almost a year on the 91 octane tune and it works well...it's not as agressive as a Troyer tune but not everybody wants that. the sound of the exhaust is also a bit more aggressive with the hypertech tune vs. the stock...sounds great!
