I love Guinness Extra Stout, I buy it by the case and love it. When I am able to get Guinness on tap only double poured. The canned draft beer, and blond are not to my taste, but never say no to beer. That would be a Mortal sin.

Seeing as I'm among the inexperienced crowd, what's "double poured"? They have regular Guinness on draft at my local pub that I visit. I've still got a few cans here and I think 2 bottles of Extra Stout. I'm not overly fond of it yet.

 

essentially it's just taking a break during the pour to let the nitrogen settle, then finishing filling the glass. they say it should take 2 minutes to pour a draft Guinness properly.

speaking of, anyone a fan of Black and _____? basically guinness over top of another beer/cider of your choice. Black and Tan is the classic, but i've had some interesting combos. Guinness over Strongbow, that's pretty good.

 

I don't like oil over antifreeze, I know that.
