Flashy is right. That's how Godzilla was able to destroy New York, but they were still open for tourism the next day.

Some of those shots where they could almost reach out and touch the cliff face just didn't look real. Looked more like a helicopter shot, and then they superimposed the "flyer" on it.

I could be wrong. But I'll tellyawhat, those rocks looked real hard and pointy.
