help me get this apart!!!

This has got me stumped. I can't figure out how to get the clutch assembly loose from the frame. I've checked the manual and an exploded view from a parts catalog but can't determine how to get this pin out to allow the rod to slide thru. I'm working on it now and would appreciate the guidance of someone who has successfully removed this item without resorting to throwing things.

I don't know, never been there,........but it looks like a split pin, that would drive out?

Just drive the pin out with a punch then the arm will come off of the shaft.
