I just happened across this thread. Is this a classic truck, new truck, etc... g2g? I have a 66 I'm working on but for that long of a trip I would likely have to drive down my other brand truck. I'm up in Mountain Home.

Somone else is in Mountain Home? Whoa!

yes...I am here too.

I would drive my 56 down, but it needs a new timing chain. I am not worried about how far...I had it in OK twice last summer and over in KS twice. No clue how many times up in MO.

Wow someone else in the area. I've seen a few old rides running around here and there, but have yet to talk with someone. Sorry to post this here Brian, but it doesn't look like you can get PM's. Did you restore your baby or buy it done? I'm prepping a 79 frame to receive my 66 body. I hope to have the frame all back together and 100% in another 6 weeks or so. That usually works out to about 3 months, lol.

G2G directions!!!!

13707 Peters Road, Jacksonville AR - Google Maps

Here's big Dave's house. It's just a couple of miles outside the back gate of LRAFB.

Dave sends his apologies for not getting the map out sooner. I told him none were necessary, that's life on the road. You get home when you can.

I just found out for sure. I will not be able to make it. Dad finally decided he would come over Saturday and help me fix the water leaks at my house.
