you getting the lighted or non-lighted version?

I had one on my 94 F-150 and it looked awesome...but every time it rained/snowed I got a cab full of water from the holes to mount the visor. took 2 yrs to seal that up completely.

 

well, the new ones mount on the inside of the door jamb, so that should help with water leaking into the cab. But, based on that design, I think the middle of the visor then just rests on the cab, and therefore the visor is subject to some vibration when driving due to the air pressure.

At least that's what this one guy on another forum complained about the visor rattling/vibrating/being noisy on his truck. So you don't see too many 04-08 trucks with those visors...

 

i was wanting to go with the lighted version.....lund does make one for the 04-08 (cant remember the part number) and i think with the way ive got mine set up, and the fact that you dont see any on the new style trucks, that it would look cool.....ill have to get some pics of my truck on here tomorrow so you can tell me if you agree, or if im crazy.....
