New guy

Hey-
Just traded in my '07 Tundra crewmax for and '08 Expedition. The vehicle was Ford cpo. XLT EL 4X4 with convenience pkg, leather, powerfold 3rd row seat, rear seat dvd, 18in chrome clad wheels(whatever that is). Love the expy overall, lots of room, much smoother ride than my tundra ever thought about being. Lackluster power, but I don't care as much because I love the smooth ride(my little girl appreciates the rear independent suspension as well.) Biggest worry was buying used vehicle--my first time ever, but I can't deny the 6yr/100,000 powertrain...offers some peace of mind.
Any worries that I should have? Build date was 3/08. Ran a recall check on ford and reported no recalls at this time. Input much appreciated.

Congratulations on your purchase. My wife and I drive an 08 Expy and truely enjoy the vehicle, remembering that it is a "truck". I haven't found any thing to about ours to make me regret the purchase.
Just watch out for "Berry". He'll talk about buying any and all extra parts. Why, I at first tried to keep up with him, now my wife's pension is in the drain.

By the way, forget about the "Chrome clad wheels". There is an old thread about them, you can peruse at your leisure.
