The founder of the Edsel Club was Edsel Henry Ford, he was not related to the FoMoCo family. He was a nutritionist at a hospital in Oakland.
I've owned 3 Edsels, a '59 Corsair 4 door sedan, and two 1960's, a hardtop and a 6 passenger station wagon.
If you're in the local Edsel Club, the blue/white wagon I used to own is now owned by Phil Skinner, so you may have seen it.
btw: I was the founder of the local Edsel Club, this was 20 some years ago.
