lockouts?

If I want to go from a full time front end that is a dana 44, do I have to install a conversion kit for lockouts or can I just bolt a set right up?

In order to obtain a part time conversion the transfer case kit must be installed. Then and only then will manual locking hubs be effective.
By installing locking hubs only, the 203 transfer case will see the front end as the low traction side and only the front output will recieve power. The vehicle will not move until the hubs are locked, or the transfer case is engaged into one of the "LOC" modes.
This is counter productive, and still requires every output to function.
The complete part time conversion must be completed in order to utilize the benifits of manual locking hubs.

If that is the case, (no pun intended) then you must install manual locking hubs to complete this upgrade.
Good job on the t-case swap. Nice upgrade.
