Suspension lift kit and factory wheels ?

well i was thinking of makeing the jump to a Suspension lift and i hit a problem

well i've been told that i have to use aftermarket wheels for more back spaceing needed for cleanece ..i would like to keep stock fx4 wheels

looked around for pics but haven't found anything otheir then the 20inch wheels on lifted trucks with 6 inch lift

can anyone support this ?

yep, the 17" rim has issues with the lift kits.

the upper and lower control arms are spaced farther apart...and this puts them very close to the inside edge of the rims (front).

the 20" rims have more inner room, so they can still be used. I believe the 17" rims with more offset can be used...but you'll need to find someone with them to ask

what kills me is i already have 35s in the 18s and i could get free set of 20inch factoy rims if i wanted

just wanted to see id anyone has the set up

not alot of lifted F-150's here on FTE

I suggest you try out F150online. There are a ton of guys running lifts over there
