well i'm back from the store. just about ready to start cutting. the tree branches up.

Raining hard here in So. end of valley, hope it doesnt flood up Portland way. Temp is 51deg, opening windows to air out the house!

 

My 3 feet of snow is GONE! To be replaced with a foot of mud...........

allen said he was driving over mt. hood yesterday to go to his sons place in gresham. i just told him he could stop by my place on his way by. its on the way.

Hi Jack! Christmas was good this year, had the kids, and grand kids here for a couple days. Dad and a brother showed up for a few days. Kinda quiet here today, just me and the wife............and this huge house!

i didn't realize how far out you were. and i got to thinking about that after the fact. besides i had half a tree fall and its a huge mess. then pge stopped by and did somemore carving on the same tree and made an even bigger mess. so i got my hands full.

Quiet here, about 37 cloudy. Lots more rain moving in Fri., saying 1 1/2 inches of rain in next 48 hrs. Around new years, all I can think about is "come on Spring!".

 

It's dry over here, and cold, about 24 this morning. Does not feel much warmer now. The word for this evening is snow.
