1994 f150 help

the clock spring in my steering wheel has gone bad and i'm wondering if i could replace it with one from a 87 f150.

because 94 has airbag and 87 doesn't.

Mine is shot too. There was a real good post about this on here with pics and everything, try a search. Didn't bother with it yet, looks like a major PITA.
