Edelbrock Performer 390 Manifold

Does anyone know what size fitting fits into the hole in the top of the Edelbrock Performer 390 manifold for the heater hose? It measures 3/4" across, the guy at summit says this transfers to 1/2" NPT. Wanted to make sure that was true. Thanks.

Mean, That goes back to galvanized pipe and inside measurements. The 1/2" thin wall copper sweat on pipe is 5/8" on the outside. Always amazed me the actual size difference from what it is called.
