Or maybe since this kraco is analog, this IS the accessory switched power.. because it doesn't need memory.. so that would mean just run a constant 12v and be done? use this black/white for my accessory switched power ?ya?

ha, i'm still having my coffee.

ok, that's what I'm thinking. this one power wire is all this old thing needed to run and kick on with the ignition. but the new deck will want a constant 12v for memory.

New speaker wire, infinities, cleaned inside the doors, laid out peal & seal all across doors which btw.. wow. even engein sound better. deck is wired up and working.. the the exception of this kenwood not remembering anything after key is turned off.. grr.. it was used. I even ran a fresh power wire from the battery straight to the deck. into it's labeled 'constant'. I'll grab another faceless KDC-108 and swap. left the door panels alone.. i fought the urge. it's fine, this is WAY better than all that trash setup was.

The loose outside door handle didn't bother me before, but now it does. How do you tighten or replace those rivets on the door handle?

Since the dash bezel was off, I washed that, primer and hit it with all mat black.

questions about stock wiring harness?

I am trying to do the same thing. Im hooking up a pioneer deh-1300MP and just want to make sure I am looking at the correct wires. I found a plug that has a yellow/black wire and a blue/red wire. I am looking in the Chilton Ford Pickup and Bronco 1976-86 service manual book and the plug I found looks like it could be the plug for the stock radio. Are these wires correct?

Yes, that's correct. YELLOW with BLACK stripe is hot-in-accessory power; BLUE with RED stripe is dial illumination.

OK so I have an aftermarket radio in my truck. It turns on and everything, but I don't know how to connect a speaker. Where would the wires connect to make the speaker work?

What radio you got? Should be a model # on it. With that, we could look at the back.
Generally, there is a large plug spot, with many connections on it. That is where you're harness would go. Then you have lots of wires off of that. Speakers are usually grey. Ones for left or right, etc. But should know the model #.
