easy lift question

ok i know that on my older 96 f150 i could use the springs from a 250 to get a slight lift. my question is can i do the same on an 05 trying to help out a friend on his.

No, 04+ F150 and 04+ f250 do not share any front suspension parts. But, on the other hand, lifting a 05 F150 is easier than you may think.

Many companies (look on ebay) sell Leveling Kits for the f150's. anywhere from 1.5 to 3" just by adding a spacer between the coil spring and the shock tower. For the back, do an add-a-leaf kit that raises it the same or .5" less to level the truck out.

These F150's look real good raised 3 inches and leveled. Also, this gives clearance for 35" tires.

I'm sure some others will ring in with their favorite leveling kits and AALs.

Someday, I'll get one on mine.
