have a 04 6.0 and run it on dse blend. Yeah yeah i know it is bad stuff, snake oil ... Not here to argue, just looking for sugestions on adding an in line fuel pump to help move the thicker fuel. Also looking to add a heated filter to make it flow better. So where is the best place to install heated filter and a pump?? Any specific LPH Or GPH that is required for the truck?? Also is there a good company or site to check out my options, i usually use ebay but don't really trust some shmucks rig job he is trying to sell for top dollar.
I usually cut my dse blend to 1/4 blend to 3/4 straight diesel in the winter but am looking to up the ratio without gelling or killing my fuel pump. I can already hear the strain on the pump and want to add another to try to make it work a bit better.
I am new to this forum so please forgive me for dumb questions, but i did do a search first and didn't find the answers i was loooking for. Thanks again.
I saw something in a magazine (heated fuel pump) for Bio diesel. Let me find it next time im in the garage and I'll post it up for ya. I think it was in Diesel Power mag.
