Good morning!

Had a 1998 V8 F-150 XL Work truck I had to part with a few years ago. She had 227K and was running like a peach...Word is she's still running round the Carolina's.

Recently bought a 2002 V10 F-250 Lariat SD ~93k miles a few weeks ago. Live in Colorado and looking to put a truck camper on her before the fall.

Looking forward to sharing experiences, maintenance tips, etc.

THANKS!
PT

Hi jhweigel. Welcome to the forum. I would love to see some photos of your 1951 truck. I have started working on a 1952 pickup. I hope to post some photos in the near future and show the progress on this large project. Good luck with your new purchase. Paul52

Smile Hello!

I'm the maintenance chief for our local fire department. I've owned Fords all my life, starting with a 1965 Custom 500 and then a 1967 Custom 500 with 428 police interceptor. My dad had a 1965 Ford F-100 with a 352 and numerous LTD's. Currently own a 1998 F-150 4x4, a 2002 F-150 Supercrew XLT and a 2001 Ranger Sport. Guess it runs in the blood!

I have a 1989 F150 I6 T18 with 270K miles on it. My dad bought it new and it's the first vehicle I learned to drive.

I also have an 1995 F350 460 auto crew cab dually long box with 69K miles. That's one of the main reasons I finally posted here, it's up for sale. I figured people on this board would appreciate the truck and it's excellent condition more than most people. The camera is messed up on the date, pics were taken last weekend.

Newbie

Hello, Just found the forums. Well, I have a '95 Bronco 5.8 thats a daily driver and my project car/truck is a 1966 Galaxie 500 on top of a '67 f100 frame with '78 Bronco running gear. I am in the process of rebuilding it since I first built it 30 years ago and sold it. I tracked it down and IT NEEDS WORK. I'm about to turn 60, I have Multiple Sclerosis, so the work will be slow. I will try to post pics. Thanks for letting me on.

New

Good Morning! I am new to this form! Just got a 1977 F-100 Custom that we are going to redo to get her running right again! At the moment I am only looking to figure out exactly where the kickdown rod would be located. The transmission is either a C3 or C4. I have to get time to get down and look it over. Any suggestions would be great! Going to be a great truck when we are done!

Hello CJWM98. I am fairly new to restoring vehicles too. I have gotten a lot of valuable information from this forum. I am working on a 1952 pickup that needs a lot of work. I will try to post photos soon on the 1948 - 1952 forum as I start making progress. Good luck with your project. Paul52
