NEW MEMBER Introduction Thread (NO TECH QUESTIONS)
Clearskies 57 F100 owner: new member
Hello. Clearskies here. Joined yesterday as a first time Ford truck owner. 57 F100 from Normal, IL. I am one of many needing lots of metal to get this old farm truck show ready for the summer. My goal is to get it in primer at least! Any leads on front fenders would be great. I've owned MANY vettes, camaros, muscle cars from late 60's. This truck is my biggest challenge yet. Looking forward to getting to know many of you!

New Guy with an Old Truck
HOWDY YA'LL
I have a 2002 F-250 with V-10. Less than 300 miles and I will click over to 359,000 miles. Blown a few plugs along the way which I believe was due to poor torque adjustments. Otherwise, it's the original engine and tranny. Neither have been rebuilt. Just got back from a camping trip to FL. Ran in the low 70mph range and got about 15 mpg. Used in the early days as a work truck carrying parts and tools as I worked on Xerox machines up and down the west coast of FL. on I-75 where 200 miles/day was the norm. Hauled all our possessions up from there with a 24ft trailer. Took five round trips but was lots less than professional movers. It has been a fine truck. Wouldn't think of getting rid of it unless it blew up or was run over by a train.
I joined because I refuse to pay almost $17 for a lousy retainer clip for my headlight adjuster at the local FORD Den of Thieves. I figured someone would know how to get around those guys.
