WTB 4wd diesel excursion
I sold my f150 4wd when I inherited a chevy 3/4 ton I was told was 4wd (I didn't bother to check)
I have three children and my wife is pregnant so we need a vehicle that seats at least 6 which we don't have.
We've been planning on an excursion for several years but will really need one in about 8 months.
I have a small farm on the arkansas missouri Oklahoma border. A diesel 250 is planned for in 2-3 years maybe.
I read in the free parts forum rules that for sale stuff belonged in the classifieds forum but I can't find it. I would appreciate a link or directions to the for sale forum.
Also I don't want to buy a membership until I own a ford again but I just read that my inbox had one message and 0 were allowed. Is that right'? I thought I read on the membership descriptions 20 or so were allowed.
Thanks to everyone for this board

I'm knew ,I read a lot of good stuff .I've just bought an 2010 f150 supercab .It came with nice 20 inch wheels .I just had to have it,so didn't really do research before I got it.But Damn it feels good!!!LOL BLESS US ALL.
New to forum, have a 1972 f250 2wd camper special w/ c6. It was originally new bought by Cascade Northwest (Honey Bucket now) for hauling around crappers. My great grandpa was the driver of it when it was new and he bought it from them when they took it out of service. It then was given to my dad, who then gave it to me. Nothing special about it besides a family rig.
Hello all
Hi I'm Shannon
I live in North West Nevada (not Vegas or Reno lol)
I have worked in mining for the last 20 years and I still in joy it most days.
I was a Chevy guy up until 5 years ago when I needed a new truck and was hard set against getting a ford then my wife talked me into looking at an ex me being 6'1" and 300 lbs I'm not a small guy but was comfortable sitting in the third row so we bought an 02 limited ex with the v10 wich I was nervous about cuz I hadn't herd anything good about them but it is an awsome engine and now with 187,000 I have not had any trouble with it. Other than the spark plug blowing out last week.
But I still needed a truck so the same weekend I found a 04 f250 6.0 extended cab with 212,000 miles that I love when it is not broken down. oil cooler twice egr twice now deleted head gasket once now with arp studs and it just went down the second time with the hpop but it is a blast to drive I'm in the hills with it every weekend it's are family getaway rig. So now I'm a ford guy and other than my 91 camaro z ford is all I'll own .

Hi All from sunny North Wales PA
Hi guys
Joined the forum as I'm looking to make a smart calculated truck buy.
We have a COLORADO at the mo which is the regular transport
But I'm looking to get an 80's Ford truck possibly a150/250
My specs are :-
Minimal computer intrusion
Maximum self maintenance workability
Reliability
Maybe some basic comforts such as AC
hauling towing capabilities
4 WD
MANUAL TRANS
Any good well thought out advise would be greatly appreciated
Thank you !!!!!!!!

Little about me:
4 years in The Marine Corps (2008-2012)
Aviation Ordnance/Avionics and hold an A&P
Got out of aviation and now I'm a machinist/mechanic at a large brewery.
Southern California
Spent all my money on a 2005 Ford Ranger prerunner while I was in The Corps, steering went out on the 405 freeway, so I ended up parting it out.
Now I own a 1971 F100, LWB Stepside. It's my new desert truck, but progress is slow.
Tired 360 coming out a few weeks back
Last time my ranger was on the road. Ranger vs k-rail
