Introduction to me

Hi I'm Pedrotheswift and a newbie here. Just acquired my first Ftruck. (77 F100 Ranger SWB styleside with a 5.8 Cleveland and C4 auto) My project requires a lot more knowledge than I have myself so I'll be relying on you all to help out. I bought my truck in boxes and I believe most of what I need is in there somewhere,( I hope). I'm a retired boilermaker/welder/suspension builder, so I have some knowledge of trucks. First thing I have to do with this one is assemble suspension and fit it to the chassis.

hello all, I bought a '95 Aerostar that had apparently been in a flood in Houston (I assume) and set in a barn in Arkansas for 10 yrs. before I bought it w/ 120k on the odometer. It's been a labor...

When I was younger I had a 62 F100 that took me through a lot. Now I'm working on a 49 Monkey Face F2. What a wonderful machine!

How's it going FTE family ✌

I've been lurking 90-96 model f150 threads for a few yrs now but, never became a free member until now. Being that I'm a free member, does that disqualify me for profile pics?? Also, I'm running into issues with me 95 F-150 I6 Xl lately &, haven't found any threads that can really help me nor, others having the same issues. Hoping we can come to a conclusion or, gather more answer's for those of us still sporting the 90's models f-150 lady's &, gent's

,Cesar

Welcome to FTE everyone!

We're glad to have you all here with us. When you get a chance, also drop down to the Regional Chapters - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums, find your Chapter, join up, and post an intro there as well.

The Chapters provide an excellent opportunity to network with folks from FTE in your area.

Thanks again for being here and I'll see you on the boards!

First time/longtime

Hello my name is Henry,

Long time ford truck owner ( it's in the blood line) I currently own my 3rd and 4th ford trucks. I'm the very proud owner of a cherry 1973 f250 camper special that my father purchased for $7,000 dollars when I was 10 yrs old. He only used it for family vacations loaded with the camper and an occasional trip to the lumber yard, landfill or appliance store etc. it was well maintained and stored well and is in very nice condition. I also own a 2012 super duty f350 xl with a gasoline engine. I have previously owned a 1971 hobby 390 and a 1978 trailer special. Both were dependable and hard working trucks. I am brand new here and still navigating the site with training wheels. I look forward to making some friends having some fun and hopefully gaining some knowledge from you veterans. Any advice or suggestions for the new guy is appreciated.

Hello everyone! I'm WADawg (Go Huskies). I've been lurking around here for quite some time. I've previously had a 2013 F250 with the 6.2L. I really liked the interior lay out, but was not impressed with the towing power through the mountains (for those of you who have towed through Hwy 20, you'll know what I mean). So I went back to a Toyota Tundra. While they have similar specs, the power to weight ratio has been quite noticeable. The Tundra has served us well (had one prior to the gas F250), but after a trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, my wife and I are ready for a diesel. We definitely don't need a diesel, but want one as we got stressed seeing the RPM's constantly at 2,500 to 3,000 on flat land (head wind, but still stressful!). So anyway, I'm looking at a 2015 F250 6.7L CC FX4 w/ 3.55. I look forward to continuing to learn from you all of you and hopefully will be posting pictures within the next month!

Howdy folks! I bought a 1990 F350 XLT Lariat crew cab dually with the 7.3L back in march. I love the truck and it has needed some TLC but, I fear I might be close to losing it. I'll post the specifics in the appropriate thread when I find it. Nice to be here and I hope I get to stay (get the truck fixed)! Wish me luck.

Evening Everyone,

I recently purchased my first Ford Classic truck. She's a 65 F100 LWB 352.. She has a 3 speed on the floor which I didn't know existed in these trucks. So I'm learning a lot and decided it would be in my best interest to try to surround myself with people who know more about these trucks than me.

Greetings All!! Been lurking here while I tried to decide on a truck purchase. Bought an '84 F250 with the 6.9 IDI yesterday. I just needed a beater truck to take stuff to the dump and to carry plywood from Home Depot. Truck has ~185K miles and is in decent shape for a beater. I'm looking forward to learning stuff here and hopefully being able to contribute stuff here and there, too.
